Raising Our Voice for 800+ Million Women

Raising our voices successfully launched the Developmental Disabilities month at CSW68. The campaign was created to bring awareness to the staggering number of 800+ million women that suffer from one form of disability or other.

In developing countries the situation is 3X worse as women are more likely to become disabled as a result of childbirth, delivery, violence and/or abuse.

Stigma and discrimination prevent this marginalized population from equitable access to healthcare information and services. Rose Academies is challenging all of us to get out of our comfort zone and advocate for those 800+ million that are being left behind.
